Hot Brew: Tradition, tradition, tradition !
Japanese monks have been drinking it the traditional way for centuries ! It allows them to relax, focus and prepare for meditation. Below is a Step-by-Step illustration on how to traditionally brew our ceremonial-grade Matcha
Step 1
Scoop into bowl
Place 1/2 teaspoon (1-2 bamboo scoops) into a cup. Use the bamboo scoop to break up any clumps.
Step 2
Add pre-boiling water
Add hot water. Avoid using boiling water as this will damage the delicate taste (175°F ideal)
Step 3
Whisk, Adjust water, Enjoy
Briskly whisk in an M or W motion to aerate until a creamy froth forms on top. Add water to adjust proportions to taste. Enjoy !
